Completely new to all this
We are moving into the Ripon catchment area, our daughter is in Year 5 and will now sit the 11+ in the autumn.
Our move has come together in a matter of three weeks, we weren't even thinking of moving just over a month ago.
I can see that some sort of familiarisation technique would be helpful but wondered if most people employ tutors for the 11+.
We are clueless but want to give our daughter the best chance of passing if that is the school she likes the look of when we get to visit the local schools. Appreciate that we need to help her before she gets to look around the local options though.
Any help would be appreciated especially as we hadn't even thought about her doing the 11+ as recently as last week.

Hi RLP
Welcome.
You can find a good deal of information on the LA site http://www.northyorks.gov.uk/article/26 ... admissions" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and you should also have a look on the school website. The information may be out of date but should give you a good idea of what to expect and the timelines involved. The LA should update the information by April.
