How far is too far?
I'm on a facebook group for 11 plus and someone posted about Heckmondwike tutors. Their location was given as Barnsley! Now they could be moving or the location given could be wrong but it got me thinking. How far are people considering for Heck (or Crossley/NHGS)? I live within a mile of Crossley and I discounted Heck as too far!

Apparently they have had people from Pontefract and Barnsley before. We travel from North Leeds, it takes about 25 mins by car in early morning traffic and although the bus home takes a while - my 2 DD see it as their social time and whilst they are with friends the journey seems to go quite quickly. However I don't think I'd have considered it of they had to catch a bus from home everyday as well.
DD1 has a friend who travels from the hills the other side of Huddersfield who really struggles when there is a bit of snow and if a later bus is caught may not get home until 7:30/8 - in my mind that is too far/too impractical.
