New Calderdale test content
Sorry if I am being a bit dim, but I don't seem to be able to find the information I am after. I have an idea of the content from the schools' website, but what I was wondering is:
- how long do the children get to sit each part ie English, maths, VR?
- are they all worth the same, a third of the final score?
I would be very grateful for any imput!

If the format is the same as last year, the timings are on the download with the maths answers on hereghee wrote:Sorry if I am being a bit dim, but I don't seem to be able to find the information I am after. I have an idea of the content from the schools' website, but what I was wondering is:

If it is the same as the 2016 exam it is 60 minutes English Reading and Writing (2 x30 mins), 30 minutes Maths then 30 minutes VR with 2 breaks in between. If you look at the post Calderdale Scores I don't think the test scores were ever fathomed!!

EnglIsh and Maths are worth 35% each and VR is 30%.

That's really helpful, thanks. I had only looked at the NHGS website and I don't think there is as much information on there. Thank you!
