Ours have landed. DS is extremely happy that he has secured a place (ranking in the 200's).

So pleased for him.

Good luck to those still waiting x

Thanks mum of two.
Do you think we will make it to crossley Heath with rank 416

I think its highly unlikely to be honest. If you look at the pinned post, Crossley fills up first and seems to before 400. You'd have a better chance with NHGS I think.

To achieve a ranking of 416 is a good score and has a reasonable chance of getting a place but unless the preference moves to NHGS this year, it is unlikely.

Thanks for the reply mum of two.
I too had a similar feeling knowing how the places will be taken up
We had letter 2a from Heckmondwike and later they said you are guaranteed a place as score is good.i am confused because both nhgs and Heckmondwike are further off.. would you advise to have a preference between nhgs and heck.. based on gcse results and league tables, though I still think managing either on daily basis will be a huge thing to think about..
I am assuming the forms for local authority are diffferent for nhgs and Heckmondwike ; do I need to fill in both separately ..
