After the allocation... what next?
I'm sure it's different for different counties/LEA's but can anyone advise as to what happens next in Calderdale?
My DS has been given his first choice GS (Crossley Heath) and its assumed acceptance unless you tell them otherwise.
Do we now wait for some correspondence from the school directly (i.e. uniform, paperwork, start date, transition dates, etc). If so, when is it likely that we'll get something?

We got a letter from HGS Saturday AM. It included details of what was happening next, induction dates, a date in May when an information pack will be sent out, dates for information evenings.
There was also a lengthy form to complete requesting doctor details, contacts, birth certificate, safeguarding, travel options, etc.

We did get a letter from HGS asking us why we hadn't chosen them for first choice. Nothing from Crossley yet but if HGS are so on the ball, I cant imagine Crossley's are far behind.
