Wonderful news from everyone! 
My son got his place too and I now have the letter to prove it! Can't believe it's finally over - I confess I wept a little with joy and relief when we got home. 
My son was smiling like the Cheshire Cat! Have spent evening receiving joyful grandparents and making happy calls to relations, hence the lateness of this posting. Will probably spend this week on the NHGS website, gleaning every last piece of information about everything! 
This has been a great site to 'scratch the 11plus itch', so to speak, ie when everyone at home has had enough of talking about it! Only two years before it all starts again for me!!!
