How much emphasis will be placed on storywriting. I have been tutoring my DS at home. He has been doing a paper a day, however he hasn't been practising his writing. This is more to do with the fact he hates writing but he is happy to do the papers. Thus I do not want to destroy his confidence and the success he has obtained over the summer holidays.

I would also like wish all the children who have been working hard preparing for these 11 plus exams the best of luck. I keep reminding my DS it will soon be over and hopefully worth it.

I believe its only looked at if the child falls within twenty marks of the pass mark also that it is only a short piece they are expected to write, about twenty mins.

So not the most important.

Good luck to you too, only two/three weeks to go :)
