Hi Cleo, you have to go with what works best for you and your child, having twins just makes my life all the more challenging!!. To be honest I wish we had sat for stretford now, so may have to re work this whole thing out if we dont score or get offered a place.
I just wish that there was some consistancy across the board with the criteria!!
Our 1st choice will be the one they pass, we only took 3 they feel ok about them all, which is promosing but in reality means very little at all.
But look on the bright side (least it made me feel better!!) if 1500 sat the exams at each school, they say 1/2 do not want to go there(not 1st choice) so that leaves 750 and 1/2 do not pass so left with 375 and with lots of grammar schools taking at least 150 ish per year, we should all be in with a chance!! (but there again, maths has never been my strong point - however a positive outlook can work wonders - and I definately have one of those) x
