so 242 passed and only 128 places.

Hopefully half the 242 who passed will be going to the other top schools St Ambrose, Alty boys and girls etc...

They do Caz BUT at catagory 10, I know as we looked into it!! and aparently they have never in more recent years taken from below Catagory 6 - or so the deputy head told me on the open day :?

My dd didn't pass :cry: and i'm not sure she will the Sale either, just feels like she wasn't mature enough to put in the effort required (August baby, i know in some cases it makes no difference but it does with her! Wish i'd held on an extra 3hrs lol!).

I think you'll find the criteria for St A has changed for 2010, they gave us a copy at the open day.

They no longer split out Catchment Catholics fron non catchment catholics and I don't think there are ten categories anymore.

I haven't got the doc with me but you can phone the school and ask.

Not sure if that would improve matters for you??
