Results for agsb arrived today. Unfortunately, he didn't make it, but at least we know now and can make plans for next year.

Sorry to hear that traffmum, its a hard one though I know that. Are you still waiting for St A then. Good luck if so. A number of our friends got St A but not Alty last year, so fingers crossed if you are waiting x

Thanks, good luck for those still waiting. We are waiting for St. Ambrose but our son's strength is usually maths so not sure this would suit him. We also live out of area and aren't Catholic so will be way down the list. He would be happy to go to our local comp with friends, but we will now have to move him into a local feeder primary to do this. Nothing's straight forward, but I know he would be happy to go there and it does have a good reputation, so will probably go with this.

Alty Boys came out today. I wonder what is the highest mark this year?

Great news Emsy. So will he go there? My son loves it.

His first choice is Sale with his sister which we are happy to go along with - we would be very happy with Sale or Altrincham.

Unfortunately,my son did not score high enough to get in, a lot of tears was shed but hey, chin up he will go to the feeder high school. Hope everyone got the result they needed.
