Has anyone ever had a child who failed sale who then went on to pass ambrose?

I haven't personally, but I know at least 7 people to whom this happened in previous years. I also know this year of some surprising Sale fails so maybe something was different with the Sale exam this year?

Relieved to hear still in with a chance...Sale seems definitely harder to pass this year. Just hoping a different exam suited my son.

I shall cross my fingers for you. Hopefully you will not have too long to wait for the Ambrose results. I think the waiting for results is the worst bit of the whole process.

Hi would echo that, I know quite a few who didn't pass others but passed St Ambrose. No Non Verbal and so if thats not your childs strong point then a better chance. I would say if better at English then Maths then St A suits better. Not that its easier, just different.

Good luck, I hope you will get the result you want

It's nice to know that different exams for different kids. Wish they put them all out on the same day as would be alot easier. It's been a terrible day...but my son feels better than me so trying to enjoy a glass of vino
