If a child just passes the exam by a few marks, will they struggle once at grammar especially at Agsb? The maths marks seem low this year and I wondered if a child would find it difficult once there?

I think if they pass they will be fine. There are clearly some very very clever children there, one of my sons friends got nearly full marks.

My son didn't but passed out of area and is doing fine, If they can pass the exam and are bright they wil keep up.

Not in the same area, but my daughter passed the maths bit of the 11+ by 1 mark. We were worried that she would struggle at a grammar, but she was put in set 4 of 6 with others of the same ability and has done very well there. Currently in Year 10, still in set 4 but predicted at least a B at GCSE.
