Creative writing - UGS
Hi, does anybody know what kind of creative writing will be asked of the children for UGS? My daughter did a winter scene for hers. Does anybody know what was the creative writing task for this year papers? September and the later one ( if you were ill for the first exam) Just to get some ideas for practice.

This year was The Storm - don't know about the later sitting.
I had a tutor for my son to help him with English for the UGS exam.
She broke each topic into intro, middle and ending. Also covered describing what you see, hear, smell etc. Topics included summer and winter, night and day, haunted house.
He used to have problems getting started and produced very little. By the exam he was much more confident and wrote the most of his classmates! the quality also improved greatly - moving away from it reading like a list to more varied sentences.
I think practice is the key!
