Loreto & AGGS
Any chance these two could land on my doorstep on the same day? Have been looking through the literature and....
'AGGS shall inform parents of their DD's result by 15th October'
Loreto says....
'Shall be posted out 12th October' (doesn't say whether 1st or 2nd post)
I was fine and dandy up until this week....

Hey, hang in there!
Tears mean you are brave, and its a natural protective instinct kicking of yours as a parent.
All the best everyone!

I think is just the thought of her little face and me having to say in the nicest possible way she didn't quite make it. Brings up so many emotions doesn't it. What gets me through is reading this inspirational thread http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 12&t=27146" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And I love the 'Cream shall always rise to the top' comment

Hi Countrymum,
Read the link first time, thanks for sharing. This is so true, I have heard similar success stories many time more, and also seen myself around me. Key to keep them in mind!
I am feeling much better, and I think I have found a task for myself for this weekend. Making a plan how not to let the result affect the confidence and morale of the child. XX

Hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised. If not, chin up and move on.
It's nice to go to a great school but it's just the start of a long journey that will have many ups and downs. I'm sure our kids will do well wherever they begin their journey.
As long as they are happy and have good health then I will be more than happy.

Wise words ManYou, thanks for sharing.
You are right and it is not the be all and end all. I think is just all this waiting, the not knowing. Once I know, either way, we can move forward
