Hi,

I would be interested if anyone received a last minute place for their DC for this September in year 7 for any of the Trafford Grammar Schools.

If you have could you say for which one and at which position your child was in the waiting list.

Just wondering if the waiting lists actually lead to places or whether they are just there for 'hope'.

My daughter started in Sept 13, allocated on 1 March, - one friend was offered a place in June 2013 (before Sept 13 entry) and another was offered a place around Easter 2014 (after the Sept intake), both from the waiting list and OOC. At the open evening this summer I was told there had been some places offered off the waiting list after 1 March 14.
Don't know if that's any help.
