Yes, Urmston still has the top 20 rule. So please tell me why Urmston is your favorite?

A result! I feel honoured :)

Do Urmston still accept the top 20 for automatic entry irrespective of catchment?

It was my favourite school in Trafford but we settled for AGGS since it's within walking distance.

I liked the kids, especially the one who showed us around.I liked the theatre, cricket pitch and pavilion and it had a "happy" feel to it.

I agree plus it is co-ed even if there is good evidence single sex girls schools do better at STEM subjects but for all round development co-ed are best for boys and girls.

Que, g55 to contradict me on the STEM issue.

I just go where the evidence leads me ,I never, say anything directed personally towards my fellow members but inevitably end up having a scrap with just about everyone

I know it was a million years ago, but I went to Urmston Grammar School. It was a great school. Loved it. I honestly don't think it has changed too much.
