Good morning all,

Allocations can be viewed in Trafford too. My DS has been offered a place at AGSB and we are OOC. He achieved a score of 367, if that helps with working out this year's OOC cut off score for AGSB.

We have a difficult decision to make now as my DS has also received an offer of a full bursary place at the Manchester Grammar School.

I hope all parents and their DC expecting allocation results today get the news they are hoping for!

Hi My son achieved score 367 in agsb but unfortunately he has not been offered a place (we live in Cheadle)
He is 3rd in the waiting list.
Does any one have any idea how likely it is for him to be offered a place?

Siddarth , I’m very surprised your son didn’t get a place with that score. Out of area admittance has usually been in the 350’s , the year my son joined (2010) it was 351 we live in Stockport too . Is that definitely right, it’s strange that someone else on here got a place from Stockport with 367.

That said , I’m sure a number of offers will decide on MCr Grammar , so you might be lucky.

I’d keep in touch with Trafford admissions.

@TIDDLYMUM
Thanks.
I am in contact with agsb and they say they will be in better position to tell us more by the end of this month.
I am also planning to appeal. Any idea or suggestion re grounds of the appeal.

@PerpetuallyTired

3rd on the waiting list , he should be a shoe-in.

Good luck but you don't need it and I'm never wrong except for the Brexit referendum, Trump being elected ..................... :lol:
