The allocation is available online at midnight (well, 00.01) on Saturday night /Sunday morning if you applied online (so not quite 4 days!)

Interesting that Trafford do this, I thought all authorities had to coordinate on one national offer day, this year March 2nd.

The Admissions Code says:

Offering a place
2.23 Where schools are oversubscribed, admission authorities must rank
applications in accordance with their determined arrangements. The qualifying
scheme must ensure that:
a) only one offer per child is made by the local authority;
b) for secondary school applications, all offers must be made on the same secondary National Offer Day i.e.1 March or the next working day,

The i.e.1 March or the next working day bit would seem to allow that offers can be made on the 1st, even if it isn't a working day, but the must be made on the same secondary National Offer Day would indicate that the offer day should be the first working day after the 1st, if the 1st isn't a working day...

It is strange... but it’s not just Trafford. Blackpool, parts of Lancashire, Newcastle are also all midnight tonight (well... 00.01)
