For the boys, my DS had a difference of 13 between Sale and Alty.

I'm wondering which of the Alty's is the higher one.
Many congrats on your DS passing all. I was wondering could you just share the marks difference in exams. My son difference in Alty and sale is 13, Alty and Stratford is 23. My son is short of few marks in Alty boys but passed all others. I am wondering how could this big difference between two scores. My son in feb born.

We have a difference of 22 marks between AGSfB and Stretford, this seems like a huge gap! Is this normal?

We have the same difference between AGSB and Stretford. AGSB hasn't been part of the consortium previously so there are no previous results to look at to compare the two. There is always a big gap between Stretford and AGGS so it doesn't surprise me that it's similar for the boys' school too.

Yes, as Poppety says, there's usually about 20 or so marks between AGGS and Stretford so stands to reason it'll be the same for AGSB. Stretford need more children to pass in order to fill their spaces so the results are higher.

Is anyone surprised that the boys was 6/7 lower than the girls?

Edit: lower/higher it gets confusing

Is anyone still awaiting letters from schools which their child passed for?

I still didn't get stretford but I'm not fussed about it.
We've put stretford 4th on the CAF and I'm sure we'll get 1st choice Alty Boys anyway.

We didn't get an Urmston letter but won't have them on the CAF anyway (no point as would need an OOC score). Would be annoying if we did live nearby though.

I'm not sure the letters are used for anything. It's not like we've been asked to prove the test scores.
It would have been nice though to have a nice letter headed letter to pose with for a photo. Only Sale provided that but without the actual score.
