I'm bored of the wait already.

32 days to go...

Yes, the wait is the worst bit I think.

DS is useless at feedback.

I heard from another parent there was a new section in VR, but my DS says there was nothing new.

Who knows :?

DS said it was okay and there was nothing unexpected in it. Impossible to know how he will have got on though. My other child thought they had done really badly but scored well above the pass mark 2 years ago. Good luck everyone!

My DD said it was awful and she barely answered anything.
(She also mentioned a new type of question)

My DS sat the test in Slough. (CEM)

He said most of the questions were OK but he thought the comprehension was quite hard and he didn't have enough time to complete 5 single marked questions. He thinks he will still pass but I'm worried now.

He also sat the GL paper in Buckinghamshire and he thinks the test was a lot easier and had around 10-15 minutes left in each part at the end to correct any mistakes. Main problem with Buckinghamshire is we are not in the new catchment area.

Worrying and a very long wait.

Do all CEM schools sit the exact same paper?

Everything I have heard points to this being a very difficult exam. Children that were calm and confident who had prepared well felt totally sideswiped! Compared to the confident elder brother who passed and did the same preparation, this was unexpected as they are both very bright (exceeding in all areas at school).

This was the feedback from all children from DS' school
