Do any of the grammar schools in Wilts publish statistics showing the number of students sitting the 11+ each year? Just interested in what the odds are on getting in! Thanks.

Try looking at the Local Authority website they usually have a "Moving on to Secondary School" brochure that gives information.

Gives some information but not numbers sitting the exam.

Like stevew61 I think this information should be included in the composite prospectus.

Ask the LEA to provide the information and direct them to the School Admissions Code http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/sacode/downloads ... -feb10.doc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; See section "Information to be included in the Composite Prospectus" & "Information in respect of each school mentioned".

In particular 13d

Where possible, schools should indicate the number of successful applications admitted in the previous year, including the criteria under which they were accepted, and whether this reflects the pattern of recent years.
In the meantime I found the following first preference information which may help.
