does anyone know whether the VR part of this exam is in standard or multiple choice format? At the open evening, the Head confirmed it would be "NFER type", but there are no sample papers available as there are for the Maths and English tests. My son is practising with both formats, but I just wondered whether any parents whose children have taken the exam in the past couple of years could shed some light!

Many thanks.

Independent schools are more likely to change entry requirements on a year to year basis than LEAs.

It is important to get information directly from the school.

If the school is using NFER multiple-choice papers, 80 questions in 50 minutes like Wirral LEA you need to check whether St Anselms are using the same familiarization packs as the LEA.

If they are then you need to make sure that your son has the 21 question type papers not the 15 question type papers.

Get the information from the school first, then come back to the forum and re-post. There will be a number of tutors who can recommend papers.
