Hi,
Sorry to hear about your DS, you just don't want them to go through this.
My DD (sorry not DS, just getting used to rules) is very happy with the second choice (pensby) but on the other hand can't stop crying. DD was doing excellent in practice tests etc and in school. DD frustrated about score. My husband wonders whether to appeal, am not to sure. Is it worth it?

Hi Sadmum
This is a very difficult time, I know. We went through it last year with DS who failed the 11 plus. We did appeal. Was your result referred to the indep board? Might also be worth having a word with head.
Our appeal was unsuccesful but I am glad we did it; I felt we had to explore every option available. For what it's worth, DS now well settled in his 2nd choice school and doing v well. Good luck
