Are all answers of equal mark value ?
We're doing lots of practice papers and are just trying to get a feel for whether she has a fighting chance ?
Currently we are averaging 52 and 55 out of a hundred on standard papers, we assumed the 2 papers are added together ?
Are wrong answers or missed answers given a negative mark or deducted from the total ?
Thank you

No questions are worth more than others. Some will have 3 paets and you'll get a mark for each answer. the trick is ti identify questions that take up a lot of time but have the least marks. "Reading Information" is one of these questions. You have to spend a while reading the Information but it's only worth 1 mark. I told my son to answer this last and only if he had time because you don't want them to run out of time before answering a 3 mark question. The 2 papers are added together and then the percentage is worked out with age weighting included. Don't worry too much about the age weighting as they add marks to the younger ones-they don't deduct from the older children.
Hope this helps
