Just wanted to ask if anyone from the Wirral has been to appeal?
What to expect? Anybody care to share their experience?
I know there are other threads with this on but none specifically for Wirral. What were other people score's and were they successful at appeal?

I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can help.

Has anyone had an appeal date yet for Wirral ?

I have an appeal form sent for Caldy and have not heard anything ?

The letter that I got with the appeal form for Calday said that appeals would be held in week beginning 23rd April. Dates would be given nearer the time.

Yes I have been feeling very stressed too!!

Good luck with your appeal.

Why did your son not get offered a place? Did he pass the eleven plus?

We put Calday second on our preferences but my son passed and would now like to go there.

Yes we put Caldy second choice, and were caught out.

But we got our third Choice not first..Which I was happy for him to go.

My son passed with 260, two of his friends also passed and both got places as first choice.

seems very busy this year.

We are in Irby so Wirral G for boys is too far for us, but I would consider it instead of his third choice.

I am in Moreton so Wirral Grammar too far from us too. We got Hilbre which was his first choice and would have been very happy for him to go there.

But he really wants to go to Calday now. He got 242 points, he has always been a "borderline" case which was why we put the grammar school second, trying to do the best for him. In previous years, second preferences have also been offered a place. He would not have been offered Hilbre if we had put it second.

Hi Wirral Caldy Mum,

Just to let you know if you check out Wirral Grammar Boys website they are saying there are places left and anyone who passed the 11+ and now want to go there contact the school.

Check it out and see what you think, let us know how you got on.
