hi fedup2012 it was something i didnt really think about at the time as upton is not her first choice but i think it is odd scoring and hopefully help your case.my d is a very bright girl and felt upton test ie both papers were easier than 11+but scored a combined 267 in upton test and 280 11+.i hope my info helps your case and good luck in your appeal

It really helps as it shows your daughter scored virtually full marks in all three papers apart from paper one!!! Upton, surely something is wrong?

I've had a response from the HT at Upton. As they commission NFER to administer and mark the entrance test she is going to ask them for some detailed analysis of the results in order to answer the questions I have raised. Hopefully that will shed some light on it and I will post as soon as I have the response.

May I ask, did you get anywhere on appeal? Currently waiting for my dd results. Longest few weeks ever!
