Hello,
My son is "high learning potential" - he is on a different level academically to his peers but emotionally he needs support. He needs structure, doesn't cope well with change, is emotionally quite sensitive. We are looking for a senior school that will give him the room to really stretch him academically but also support his individuality and strong pastoral/SEN awareness. Does anyone have any advice based on their own experience? We are considering Birkenhead school but haven't got a feel for the strength of their SEN support.
