I just wanted to send you all a good luck message..
I know Wirral has been pretty quiet but I also know you have all been logging on in earnest.
I hope each one of you gets the results you and your children are hoping for.
AM
Just in case any of you are applying to WGG you might have a new uniform come Sept. The girls are all voting tomorrow for or against the school tie..
Will let you know the outcome.

Thanks Appeal Mum,
I keep checking my e-mails, because I remember the LEA telling me I 'may' get an e-mail when I phoned to check they had my online allocation form. I think she meant to confirm that they had received my form, but since I didn't get that, I'm hoping maybe she meant for allocations
Who am I kidding
We've applied to Wirral Boys so the tie issue doesn't apply but I wanted to mention that Upton Hall wear a tie during the autumn/winter terms and an open necked blouse during the spring/summer, can they vote for that? Best of both worlds

Me too..
But it looks like it will be tie free.
Maybe they should have sent the ballot form to the parents..

I hope the tie goes! It seems odd to me that schoolgirls wear men's clothing. The girls at WKGS have never worn ties as far as I know, and they still look smart.

When I was at WGSG in the Dark Ages, we wore ties - and wait for it - straw boaters in the summer! If R can be guaranteed success on Tuesday then I will wear both and nothing else to run up and down The Pyramids in Birkenhead! Anything rather than wait another 36 + hours!

Pity Wirral can't be as quick as the rest of the country..
