OK I'm being TOTALLY **** now ............can you tell if it's good or bad by the thickness of the envelope.
I think I just can't imagine THE day is finally on us and I'm trying to fixate on anything now apart from the thought of standing in the hall with THAT piggin' envelope.
can't eat...can't sleep...bleeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuurgh.
anyone else round the 'offy' rather a lot or is that just me?

I may be wrong but I think the envelope will always be the same size. As basically the only difference between "good" and "bad" will be the name of the school allocated on the form inside. i.e Wirral or Rock Ferry or whatever

I was told that there may be 2 envelopes - 1 from LA and the other a welcoming letter from the new school??!!
Just settled down for another nervous night - voddy & tonic in tow (last night was bad enough, couldn't sleep and when I did was dreaming about all this!) Daughter having nice relaxed lavendar bath and warm milk awaiting when she emerges.
Can't believe how the time has flown since November it's gone in the blink of an eye ... mind you so have the last 11 1/2 years ... OK think the voddy's working now - starting to get sentimental - couple more should knock me out for the night!!!!
Seriously, good luck and lots of best wishes to everyone in this position. I found this forum by good luck and fortune last year and it's been so supportive and helpful so thanks to you all (OK stop the voddy NOW!)
Mumster xx

Have I been completely disillusioned? I thought we got two envelopes anyway, one with the marks and one the school allocation letter. Oh dear, someone tell me what to expect in the morning before I assault the postman! First bottle nearly finished and then will stop. I know I can't cope with a hangover tomorow!

Hi Tryingtostaycalm,

If it's a pass it will be one letter (A5 envelope), with the school allocation on the first page, the second page will detail the scores for the two tests and the overall score. Not sure if there are more pages if it's not a pass, I think Appeal Mum may be able to help you with that.

Good Luck! Not long now!

Hi there,

Yes exactly the same..

There is also a 3rd page for you to fill in and hand back into your child’s primary school.

It will ask if you will be accepting the allocation, refusing it or have a continued interest in it (meaning you’re appealing but you will provisionally accept it in case you don't win your appeal.)

You will not be able to tell what result you have by the feel of the envelope.
