No sign of postie yet. Can't sit down-just walking from room to room. Glad I took the day off today-woke up on the hour every hour last night from 3am.

Cant believe post man came so early = promised son i would not open letter - yeah right - Hands shaking and there it was passed !!!!!!!

Was right about 1st test tho - he did not pass that but got 141 on second - so did really well - i am so proud -

Could't sleep last night thinking of appeals eek

Going to have to wait until later here. Postie due to arrive 11 ish. Then waiting for daughter to open letter after school! Might prod letter a bit and then walk away.....then prod.....then walk away etc, etc.....
Starting to worry not only about passing/failing but also oversubscription/distance etc.
Will have piece of toast and cuppa to take mind of it.

notion potion - i was all ready to put kettle on to steam open envelope - however, could not help myself and it was one of those self seal type anyway - so opened it and have put it in a new one - so son can believe he has opened it

However, am off to shops for cake card etc so he will realise eventually but hopefully won't care by then.

ps the envelope was white - and so thought results hadn't arrived

what an emotional day - cant think how the poor children must all feel stuck in school till 3.30
