OVERSUBSCRIPTION

Does anyone know whether the boys' grammar schools are oversubscribed as well?
Interesting aside regarding sibling rule. This rule is not meant to stop other qualified children (i.e. only and first born etc.) receiving grammar school education. It is indisputable that the sibling rule does discriminate against them.
Given that the sibling rule was very nearly made illegal in the latest selection guidelines I can see it being under increased pressure if oversubscription is becoming the norm again.
