Chester (ish) relocation

Well if you go far enough south of Chester you hit another grammar school Newport Girls!-see Shropshire forum above!

I guess a lot does depend on where you intend to live (and work if this is a company relocation). Newport Girls Grammar is probably more competitive to get in than grammar schools on the wirral. This is around 45 miles south of Chester.. The schools on the Wirral are all a fair drive from anywhere south of chester. I assume you have looked at a map. Chester itself is around 15 miles for Wirral Girsl Grammar (a good hours drive in the morning / evening) the others, especially West Kirby are even further away.
