Wow you must be a mind reader. Following last nights disastrous 'whole paper' episode I am also considering non grammar school options. I've just had an email this morning from Birkenhead who tell me it's all going well and there are already 60 girls in y6 many of whom will presumably move up next year. How many pupils would there be across the year group?
Any inside info would be greatly appreciated plus any thoughts on whether it's a better option than BHS?

Apologies for mis information. Currently 21 girls in y6.

Could you just expand on -'very different school' for me. Different from what?

Hi there
we're strongly considering this as an option. Does anyone have any idea how the co ed status will effect the number of places available? Will it be more difficult to get a place as there will be both boys and girls going for the same number of places?

HI Guest 42
Thank you for that. I really hope that my son can get a place as he was very impressed with the school on their recent open day and put it above Calday. Just our luck that the numbers may be against him!!!!
