what is a good result [2]

Patricia,

I am looking for a good 11+ tutor in Bucks (Marlow/High Wycombe) for my 10 yr old son who is in yr 5 and so will be sitting the tests this October.
Can you recommend anyone in this area.

Dear Zeb

Really cannot help re recommending tutors, need to ask parents in your area, ask lots of questions, if they teach other than the 21 types for Bucks, in multiple choice format, move on.

Why don't you teach your son yourself, there are plenty of resources on this website and I am very willing to guide you through the process ,on the Bucks section

Thanks for the advice.

With regards to teaching him myself what would you recommend as a good starting point ?
I know that Bucks Council have 2 verbal reasoning papers. Which practice papers would you recommend ?
Are there particular techniques I need to teach ?
