I got this as an alternative to paper books just to give a bit of variety in the early stages. DD has done a couple and it's been a good way of highlighting the need for vocab work.
There is one type which mystifies me though - it's all maths such as
8 x 8 - 5 = 7 x 7 + ?
As questions they don't pose any problem - she got 49/50 in her first attempt - I just can't see what they have to do with VERBAL reasoning

The 21 types of VR used by GL Assessment cover 4 types of maths.

Bucks asked for the inclusion of these Maths due to the fact that they only use VR for testing and not a separate Maths test.

These only test arithmetic - hence why level 3 in Maths can get through Bucks 11+

Out of a section of 7 questions the first few may be level 3 but the others would certainly be above this...

Sorry, I don't think there is anything I would describe as 'maths' in Bucks 11+.

These 4 types of questions used in the Bucks tests and all areas using 21 types GL Assessment Verbal Reasoning require your child to have impeccable times tables [up to 15] and the ability to manipulate numbers quickly and confidently using a variety of methods.

Thanks - we are actually trying for Kendrick so need to do the full 35 types just in case but she has now seen why I have been banging on about her times tables
