Hi guys I can't figure out the following 2 question;
(14 [15] 17)
(2 [5] 9)
(8 [?] 23)
(3 [5] 16)
(4 [10] 28)
(5 [?] 10)

14 +17 = 31 -1=30 /2 = 15
2+9=11-1=10/2=5
8+23= 31-1=30 /2 =15
I think? need a bit more time for the second one

3x2 =6, 16-6 =10/2 =5, then 4x2=8, 28-8 =20/2 =10, so answer 5x2 =10, 10-10=0/2 =0

I worked it out as
(3 [5] 16) 3 + 5 = 8x2 = 16
(4 [10] 28) 4 + 10 = 14x2 =28
(5 [?] 10) 5 + 0 = 5x2 = 10
