IPS DAILY TESTS BK 3 TEST 5,QUESTION 10

Can someone help me as I didn't understand this question-

Had to find a word that will go equally well with both pairs of words in the brackets.
wasp fasten bolt exit grab
(lock catch) ( flee fly)

I didn't understand how "bolt" (correct answer) related to flee and fly?

bolt can be used to fasten or secure something as can a lock or catch

bolt can also mean rush way eg "the horse bolted", implies in a hurry like fleeing or flying
