OP I have found the Stephen Curran books great. 11 plus spelling and vocabulary from amazon. They make learning vocab fun and it seems to be on the vocab that many children fall down. There are lots of books in the series, but any one would do as they are similar. Good luck!

Yummiemummie, I have the Stephen Curran Spelling and Vocab book 4. Should I have started on book 1? My DS is also in year 4. Did you go up to book 12? I'm wondering where we're going to find the time for all this!

FB- I dont think it matter which one you start on, they are all really good. There are loads of them if you have the time
