Useful vocab - Homophones

Similar sounding words with different meanings, if you use the following you'll just need to reformat to make it a bit easier on the eyes :)

You are amazing...are you doing all this yourself or do you have a little slave locked in a broom cupboard typing away.

Forbear/forebear is a new one for me too. :oops: I only knew the ancestor one.

I may be shot down... But I wouldn't have classed some of these as homophones. My understanding was that a homophone has the same pronunciation, but different spelling?

Homonym, homophone, homograph, hetronym. Or just similar and often mixed up.

All useful words though.

Nope.......regardless of the result for 11+ CATS, SATS, or whatever its our kids that are amazing and like you and everyone else, I could do this day in day for them :D
