CGP Verbal Reasoning 10 - 11

DD planning to sit the 11plus this year. Planning to sit for the North London selectives: HBS and St Michaels as well for Berks (Slough).
DD is struggling with the Assessment in the above book especially with synonyms, antonyms.
Is this book at the right level or Advanced for eleven plus.
Are DD/DS expected to know words that occur in this book
Any advice to improve vocab greatfully recieved. I have printed the words that have been contributed by PAtricia and other parents and am working with DD on these
