Help in Athey PLEASE

Hi, my son is doing Athey Papers and in pack 1 paper 6 we are having different answers for que.no. 47, 48, 49 and 53.
The answers given doesn't make sense. Can some body please tell what answers are they getting. He has converted the code and has got the right answer for qes.43,44,45, 46.50, 51,52.
Please help really appreciate.

Hi,
The number codes for the words HIDE, INTO, TUNE and DAIL are 9281,4631,6895 and 3607.Work out the codes for he following.
43. THINE
44. HAUNT
45. TENTH
46. D+T+I+O=
47. TD/D=
48. EI+UN-L-T=
49. UTH/U=
53. FIND THE ANSWER TO THE FOLLOWING WORD SUM AS A CODE
581 + 8681

Assuming that the fourth word is DIAL, not DAIL:

HIDE = 4631
INTO = 6895
TUNE = 9281
DIAL = 3607
43. THINE 94681
44. HAUNT 40289
45. TENTH 91894
46. D+T+I+O= 3+9+6+5 = 23
47. TD/D= 93/3 = 31
48. EI+UN-L-T= 16+28-7-9 = 26
49. UTH/U= = 294/2 = 147
53. FIND THE ANSWER TO THE FOLLOWING WORD SUM AS A CODE
581 + 8681 = 9262 = TUIU

Thanks for that. My son was multiplying TD instead of just translating the numbers.

Code problems are much easier with multiple choice!
