My child will be sitting an NFER test (jointly administered by two grammars in Calderdale). I have tried to find out if this is the 15 question type or 21 question type but the schools say they simply buy the tests in and they don't know how many question types they include.

Is there another way of being able to tell - for example by the number of actual questions included in the tests? I guess they would know the number of questions if I asked them.

Any advice much appreciated.

If NFER Verbal Reasoning is the ONLY exam being set then it is almost certainly 21 types of questions, however if it is one of 3 or more examinations it is almost certainly will be 15 types of questions.

Judging by the trial run test my daughter recently sat for North Halifax Grammar it appears to be the full 21 types.
