Where can I find VR practice worksheets?
Hello
I've never posted here before, but would really appreciate some advice.
There are 2 or 3 types of GL VR question my daughter struggles with and I think she needs lots of repetition for them to click with her.
I can't find online or for sale any sets of worksheets that focus on just particular question types but am sure they are out there.
The questions she struggles with are
1) multiple/similar meaning
2) opposite meaning/antonyms
Thanks in advance for any suggestions of where to find repetition of these question types

Have sent you a PM of where you can find particular types, but it is online rather than worksheets

This just shows how ridiculous GL is. It's supposed to test suitability for grammar school, but really it's just testing how much training they've had....smh

If she is struggling with being able to recognise words that mean the same and words that mean the opposite then the problem is with the books she is reading.
She simply does not have the range of vocabulary to know the words.
It is not worksheets that will help the most but improving what books she is reading.
What book is she reading at the moment?
Wind in the Willows, What Katy did, Anne of Green Gables, The Secret Garden, A Little Princess, Treasure Island will all open up a whole new level of vocabulary to her. DG

Totally agree. But with a month to go, I'm not sure a child can catch up with reading that should have been done during years 4 and 5.Daogroupie wrote:

Thanks all.
From what I read most kids fall down on these types of question.
As i come to the end of this process I'm.inclined to agree with the person up thread who said it's just a test of how well they are trained.
Thanks
