age question
Alexander’s grandma is 5 times as old as Alexander was 3 years ago.
If Alexander’s grandma is 60, how old is Alexander?
What is the best way to answer this question for a 10 year old?

Re: age question
This is a VR question.
This type of question is known as Type Z.
They are my favourite question as if you just follow the logic they are straightforward.
Mods can you move it to the VR section pls?
Always start with what you know.
Grandma is 60 years old.
60 is 5 times older. 60 divided by 5 = 12
12 3 years ago so 15 now.
