Reverse Alphabetical Order

Originally this qiestion is from Bond.Need help!!
If these words were listed in reverse alphabetical oredr, which word would come second?
Racket
Raisin
Raffle
Rattle
Rascal
Answer is Rascal.. Dont understand how to work this out.

They all begin same 2 letters so you need to look at 3rd letter.
In alphabetical order they would be
racket
raffle
raisin
rascal
rattle
reverse alphabetical order
rattle
rascal etc.
For quickness you don’t need to list them all and reverse just look for the one where 3rd letter is nearest end of alphabet, then find one which is nearest to that

Just a thought - were you reversing the order of the letters in each word?
