Who else went tonight? The boys who were doing the tours were fantastic, we had a year 8 (I think). Was quite impressed with the new head when she reminded parents about it being detrimental to travel more than an hour to school!

We were there (and had been last year). The numbers attending were huge, much bigger queues than last year and I think the overcrowding prevented getting a good impression of the school. The huge number of seething bodies didn't help interaction very much; it was just annoying.

Maybe they should have a pre-test so that only some people can get to see the Open Evening!

And make use of those free nvr papers they were handing out at the front gate!

We had a very positive visit, with excellent Y11 guide, the entrance area and science was congested, otherwise seemed fine for us.

Couldn't agree more about it being detrimental to travel more than an hour to school - although I would bring that down to half an hour max.

SVL - lol @ the idea of a pre-test - can you imagine the new industry that would spawn in tutoring for the pre-test
