My son is nearly nine and we have been using the Bond papers to practise but I would like to get hold of NFER papers. Where are these available for his age group, or perhaps 9-10.

Many thanks,

Nfer do a set of 4 practice papers , NVR, VR, Maths ad English.

They do a multi packs with one of each or single subject packs which contain 4 tests in a particular subject.

You can buy them from this site or from most bookshops.

Which area are you in?

The subjects you need to focus on will depend on the LEA

Hi Surreymum123

I have gently relocated this thread to the Surrey section, because I think you will get relevant advice here.

The jump from Bond to NFER shop bought papers is huge, and I wouldn't advise using them for a nearly-nine year old. They are best used with a child about to undertake the real tests, so 10 years old.

If you would like to post more about the schools you are looking at, I am sure that many regulars will advise you on appropriate practice materials to use with your son.
