Trinity versus Wilsons

Post by PumpkinPrincess »

I'd be grateful to hear your views on a choice between Wilson's and Trinity. Apart from the main issue of fees.

In terms of distance, Trinity is nearer home and Wilson's is approximately 30 - 45 minutes away.

Hello Pumpkinprincess,
I'm sorry you have not received a response yet!

I have no idea as we did not go down the independant line but i do recall some old threads comparing these and whitgift.

Maybe you could check, but i am sorry can not be of more help!

Thanks for your concern.

I am still keeping my fingers crossed that there might be a few parents/students with a view on these two schools.

Hi

I have a friend whose son is in Yr 7, having won a sports scholorship to Trinity. So far, he is enjoying it very much. My friend said that what she liked about it when viewing school was the way they talked about school life as being "on an exciting journey of discovery" or words to that effect. However, as her DS did not pass the 11+ exams he sat, she might have felt differently.

That said, a number of boys from my DS's rugby club go to Trinity and the parents are very happy with it.

I also know a few parents with boys at Wilson's and again, so far, they are very pleased.

In a way, it's quite a nice dilemma to have! I don't think you can go far wrong with either school.
