DD passed her exam with 235 (maximum is 280) but we're not in the catchment area so, really don't know... I believe that it is not enough.
But I'm glad she did her best and passed. Of 1390, more or less 660 passed the 202 line, so it shows me that she's in the good way, even if she can't get a place into Nonsuch. I'm proud of her and we all should be proud of our little girls, even if they didn't have the results that we were after.
They are only 10, and going through this experience must have been really stressful for them. At their age I was playing with dolls... So, let's celebrate that they had a good try and let's keep studyng for Tiffin now!

Good luck to all those who didn't get the results they were hoping for. Doroty, I know that out of catchment girls got in this year with 234, don't know if it went any lower than that so you never know. Last year your daughter would have got in with 235, fingers crossed!

We received the results for our daughter and she has got 237 marks. Unfortunately we are 50 yards outside the catchment area :( . We are not sure if she will be able to get a place in Nonsuch but last year 237 marks were the lowest score on which a place had been allocated. The pass mark is 202 this year and 662 were successful out of the total 1390 pupils who had participated. We have to wait till March if a place will be achieved, till then the stress goes on. We want to congratulate any parents whose DD has passed the exam and for the rest please don’t give up hope, and you will get better result for other schools. Good Luck! :D

Hi MMS1,

Congratulation to and your DD, we are in the same boat as you, DD scored 249. Our first choice is Tiffin as my eldest daughter is in year 11. We are very pleased with her score and that is a credit to her hard work since the Sutton mock test, which was a shock to all of us as she only managed 286 that gave her the incentive to apply herself and work a bit harder. Last year cut-off for Nonsuch ooc was 233. So still there is hope but I am afraid the wait goes on.
