Wallington Girls - How many sat the test?

Post by Gorgeous »

Does anybody know how many girls sat the entrance test in 2010 and also, how many girls sat it in 2009, and of those how many passed? Or is it a state secret?

Oops - have just realised I know the answer to one of my one questions! 1310 sat it in 2010, but don't know about previous year.

People may not know...usually the half of all applicants reach the pass mark.. Just out of curiosity, how many have passed for this year?

Thanks La Boume - have absolutely no idea. Everybody I know who's daughter sat it passed this year, but all they would tell us is that our DDs are deemed to be of selective ability

The general consensus from the kids was that the Maths was very easy and they'd covered it all at school so I'm thinking it will be a very high number of passes this year.

It may be high number of passes, let's say 650, but still just 180 or so places. So not everyone who are "deemed to be selective ability" will get the place at the end of the day. Do not know how it can help to know the exact number of "passes".

You're right of course, absolutely no help to know the number who passed - just curious.
